The Indian Summer in late October last year was a real pleasure to those who came in large numbers to our Show, held in the beautiful autumnal surroundings of St George’s College, Weybridge.

The college is conveniently situated, just off the M25 at junction 11, and a short walk from Addlestone station. It has all the facilities that we need – excellent lecture theatre, good halls, on-site catering, ample car-parking and, best of all, a number of classrooms that we can use for workshops and other such-like activities.

This year we are hoping for similar weather as we are returning once again to the welcoming atmosphere of St George’s College, with another excellent programme of lectures and workshops that so richly complement the honey show itself.

Because of the large numbers who came in 2009, we have changed things somewhat, and we shall be holding our lecture programme in the Amanda Smith Theatre, with tiered seating for almost 200.

The trade, educational and charitable stands will be moving to the Sports Hall, which will have its own café serving hot and cold drinks, snacks and sandwiches.

Last year we also saw some pressure on car parking – but for 2010 we shall have the use of the overflow car park, back in use after the completion of the building of the new 6th form centre. So, we shall have room for all who came last year – and for many more also!

You can view a Slideshow of the 2009 show taken on Saturday the last day.

St George's College is disabled-friendly, and, except for one room at the top of the building, is accessible by wheelchairs. There are also three wheelchair-friendly toilets.
