Unsure about how to label your entries?
Entries to the competitive classes open in August 2026.
All entries must be made via the online entries system.
Entries for classes 141-156 inclusive, 415-416 and 418, i.e. essays, videos, microscope slides and photographs must reach the Entries Secretary by 7th September 2026. DO NOT SEND EXHIBITS at this stage, only complete the online entries.
No late entries will be permitted for these classes.
Entries for all other classes must be submitted by 5th October 2026.
Late entries for these classes may be made until the 12th October 2026, but will incur an additional one-off late entry fee of £10.00.
Topics for the BBKA sponsored clases
The topics for the BBKA sponsored classes for 2026 are:
Class 150 – a set of digital images, the subject is “Changing Comb – Why and How”
Class 151 – BBKA essay, the subject is “Urban or Rural – What’s Best for Bees”
Special Entry Classes for Younger Beekeepers
We invite our talented younger beekeepers and bee supporters to enter the wide range of exciting classes in the show. These classes make a fantastic display that visitors always love to see. They will be featured on social media for the entire world to admire.
